Para Kay Felicissima / For Felicissima
2023

color ; video
duration / 4:07

Para Kay Felicissima, which translates to For Felicissima, visualizes a variety of Filipino gestures
and customs—displaced and queered outside of the taught. What self invented rituals come about
after loss, grief, redaction ?

This piece is titled for my great grandmother, who passed away during the making of this video.
